Very Special Update!

After rooting through and pruning a lot of old strictly-SDL code, I've managed to make a major improvement to the background. This should be the first of at least three on their way, and a new bonus—potential MOTION SICKNESS! Just like all those old-school Descent players!

You see, in the past, the background was relatively static. It progressed from right to left as you traveled through the vast dangerous voids of, um, wherever; but it was pretty clearly just a 2D image without much life of its own. Start the game now, and you'll notice that the background is scroogly oogly wobbly bobbly. S'boobly zoobly crungy wungy now, not sticky wicky tacky slappy.
