Bling!
Blowing up asteroids now releases treasures, which vary in appearance but are worth three points each.
In other news, I found the location of the bug after all! I preserved the state of the bling source code, and it turns out it was in the timed action for the treasures—once I have it sorted out, they'll leave a trail of sparkles behind them. However, exclusively on web, this was causing all kinds of weird issues; so I'll likely rewrite the whole thing.
Eventually it is my intent to add a diversity of foods and treasures. Not just pretzels—I picked pretzels because I'd baked some German soft pretzels that day, and they were easy to 3D model. In the past few weeks, I have made cannoli, baklava, brownies, tiramisu, and tonight, tarte a la bouie. I think I can do better than just soft pretzels...
