Glitter Works!

You know it's funny to be able to say this, but I actually have come to enjoy chasing bugs down in programs; especially these days. 2020 has been nuts, and it isn't over yet—we have a president who storms out on 60 Minutes, a world-class pandemic, serious economic crises and a disturbing dearth of new MCU material. Debugging? Debugging always makes sense to me. It isn't always easy, and I take full responsibility for whatever catastrophe made it into my program architecture; but it isn't magic.

There was a delay for a while, as my previous setup for sparkles/glitter (which come off of treasure, or "Bling") was causing memory corruption sporadically. I finally have managed to root out the exact lines doing it, and have replaced them with something reliable. You now have rainbow sparkles glittering off of the bling, which provides three points on pickup.

There's a part of me that wants to say that this should never have taken this long. On the other hand, what the hell do I know? Man, I'm proud of this bug. Anything that held me back for a week took effort to hide.

Soon enough I'll be adding new music, new environments, and a host of new enemies and powerups. Everybody enjoy.
