1.6.3—rotating sky, slightly faster ship
So, it turns out that when you're in a smaller space ship, you can get your center of mass a lot closer to the star, making the pull effectively stronger. I had to fix that, by slightly increasing engine speed. Half the fun is still avoiding it, though, so don't get unreasonably comfy with it.
I also set up the starry background to slowly rotate, giving the game a sense of depth.
Finally, I spent the whole evening removing a bath tub full of now-unused code, and a completely distinct and separate bathtub full of warnings and throw-away error messages. This involved finding each one, commenting or deleting it out, or applying a fix; and then play testing the game to ensure that it was still just-as-fit for shipment. I think I'm ready to put it down for the next twelve hours.
Everybody have fun though, and if a big issue comes up you're always free to drop a line to me in the comments!
