1.8—Flying Saucers
Gravitroids » Devlog
That's right; flying saucers of the most basic form. It was a bit more involved than you might think; I used the built-in infrastructure for an animated sprite, but wanted the result to be flexible; so I had to figure out how to effectively write a shader for it.
In the future, enemies will be selected at random, but for the moment we got our blinking green flying saucer and that's it. Patience, space-grasshopper.
In summary,
- Added basic flying saucers
- Increased coin-magnet strength (they should snap right to you now)
- Added black background color to labels, to avoid stellar background interference and keep them readable
Everybody enjoy!
