1.7—Stellar Bouncing


Well, that's part of it, anyway. Change log:

  1. Made fragmentation velocity substantially more random, similar to what it was in the original Asteroids.
  2. Altered linear and angular velocity dampening so that objects behave more like they're in open space, with the partial exception of the ship, which still experiences some angular dampening. (Little more frustrating than a spinning-out-of-control space ship.)
  3. The ship now bounces on contact with a star, which makes getting stuck truly difficult to do. This makes more physical sense than "contact" with a stellar mass anyway, yeah?
